The 4K class at the Woodson YMCA Wausau Downtown Branch is heading back to school in a bright new learning environment that includes upper and lower level classrooms, a continuation of the comprehensive design build remodel of the facility by Ghidorzi.
Color functions as a creative design element throughout both spaces, in addition to equipping teachers with easy directives and intuitive learning centers for young minds. The upper lever features a raised platform perfect story time and playtime performances. The elevation of the stage enables it to double as a skylight to the lower level where the ceiling models a blue sky complete with acoustic clouds and energy saving LED bulbs that are easily dimmed for napping.
