New Restaurant Opening at Hilton Garden Inn Wausau Late This Fall

The Ghidorzi Hotel Group is excited to announce Van Acre, a spirited new restaurant that proudly reflects our Wausau roots, coming soon to the Hilton Garden Inn. Van Acre will open late this fall following closure of the existing dining and bar space beginning Wednesday, September 8.

Our heart for homegrown hospitality comes to life in Van Acre with authentic food and drink, a captivating space and passionate team. The menu is inspired by the region with seasonal rustic fare served alongside classic and creative cocktails, craft brews and a curated wine list. In addition to dynamic social spaces throughout the restaurant and bar, Van Acre will also feature an exclusive private dining room for up to eight guests.

Private dining via our winter igloo experience will also return for the 2021-2022 season.

The Hilton Garden Inn is the area’s premier hotel with 108 guest rooms, 7,800 sq. ft. of premium conference center space and sweeping views of Rib Mountain State Park. The Restaurant and Bar has welcomed guests since the hotel opened in 2017 and is the only area that will be undergoing renovations. All other hotel amenities will remain open.
