Ghidorzi Hotel Group is pleased to announce the promotion of Alex Savage to Event Coordinator at the Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriot of Wausau, an 87-room property with 5,000 sq. ft. of conference space. Alex joined the team in March 2021 in Conference Services. His attention to detail, service mindset and client-facing background made him the ideal candidate for a promotion into this role.

Alex graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a double major in Communication Arts and English. Before moving to Wausau with his wife, Alex had 5+ years of professional sales experience, most recently as a wine sales consultant at Phillips Distributing in Madison.

On his days off, Alex explores another passion as an Audio Engineer in live music settings. He and his wife have loved living in a smaller city and being able to purchase a home last year.
