Courtyard by Marriott® of Wausau, a Ghidorzi Hotel Group property, is excited to announce that an extensive modernization project is underway to revitalize the hotel inside and out. Courtyard continues to move forward by elevating the brand experience with classic and clean lines, solid colors and modern furniture. The new aesthetic achieves a classic style and elevated spaces to support the Courtyard guest as they follow their passions and adapt to the way they live, work and play.

All guest rooms are being completely remodeled with new finishes, bathrooms, furniture, including flexible workspaces, and soft goods. In addition, a completely new fitness center is being created and will include 24/7 access, state-of-the-art weights and cardio equipment and hydration station. The Bistro and the lobby are being reimagined and upgraded and will continue to serve Starbucks, breakfast, dinner and a full-service bar. Guest WiFi will also be enhanced and digital key through the Marriott app will be available.

The hotel will remain open throughout construction, and guests can expect the same award-winning service from the Courtyard Wausau team. Marriott International has awarded Courtyard Wausau at the highest level in recent years, including the Diamond Circle Award 2022 and bistro manager Lauretta Quimby Team Member of the Year 2022, and the elite Hotel of the Year 2021.

Ghidorzi Design | Build | Develop is serving as General Contractor and Interior Designer for the project, with oversight from the International Marriott Brand Standards team.

Construction will be completed in phases and during standard business hours to ensure minimal interruption. Estimated completion is 2024.
