Nicolet Bank’s commitment to investing in its customer experience, team and community is on full display with the opening of its Wausau branch at 511 S. 28^th Avenue. This facility reflects the brand identity the bank has built over time with an elevated modern approach achieved through close collaboration with the Ghidorzi design build team. Ghidorzi served as architect, general contractor, and interior designer for the project.

The 19,000 square foot building is spectacular from every angle of the highly visible location along Wausau’s primary corridor. Eye catching exterior elements include two story glass flanked by vertical regional brick piers, warm tones of dimensional stone masonry and exposed steel beams. A favorite brand touchpoint is the LED pinstripe that accepts the roofline in signature Nicolet green. This blend of material balances traditional with contemporary to achieve a distinct wow factor that continues inside the building.

The two-story glass lobby captures epic views of Rib Mountain to the south and a dramatic craftsman staircase to the north featuring custom spindles engraved with the Nicolet Bank shared success emblom. The entire footprint of the new branch caters to the customer and staff experience with curated interiors and thoughtfully designed spaces. The soft color palette of light neutrals, sage green and blonde wood create a warm and inviting atmosphere, complemented by soft seating areas throughout the building. Private offices, conference rooms and breakroom kitchenettes on each floor line the perimeter of the building to maximize natural daylight and stunning views. Underground parking provides the ultimate amenity for on the go team members.
