The Ghidorzi Hospitality team had the joy of hosting the Boys and Girls Club for the annual High Tea presented by Kocourek Kids Foundation. The program is an opportunity for Club girls to participate in a series of educational empowerment sessions taught by area businesses.
The final session “I Choose My Table” was the perfect fit for our Van Acre team. Following a discussion led by Erika Van De Yacht of Weinbrenner Shoe Company about unique dining situations and appropriate conversation, Van Acre Executive Chef Arkiell Ferguson shared her exciting career path, challenges she overcame along the way and how they helped shape her own powerful leadership style. High Tea members dined on a delicious meal of Chicken Parmesan prepared by the Van Acre culinary team while practicing dining etiquette and getting to know each other even better.
This session prepared them well for the celebration luncheon at the Hilton Garden Inn where women from throughout the community sat alongside High Tea members for another delicious lunch and heartfelt presentation showcasing all they experienced and learned this summer through the High Tea program.
