Now open, the Aspirus Doctors Clinic we developed, designed, built and provided interior design for in Wisconsin Rapids.
The 60,000 sq ft., 34-physician facility brings together under one roof medical imaging, urgent care, general surgery, family practice, pediatrics, internal medicine, OB-GYN and bone densitometry. This represents a considerable upgrade from the former location of 25,000 sq ft. in the Riverview Medical Center.
The new Doctors Clinic was designed around the patient experience with:
- Self-serve check-in kiosks for those who seek greater privacy from the regular check-in windows
- More than 100 exam rooms, an increase of nearly 50%, to decrease wait times for seeing the doctor
- Artwork and natural daylight throughout to enhance visual appeal as well as promote health and wellbeing
The building was also designed with technology in mind. It accommodates the latest medical technology, including CT scan, MRI, digital radiology and ultrasound. It also utilizes green building technology, including low-flow faucets, high-efficiency boilers, solar hot water and electrical systems and energy-efficient lighting.
